Went on vacation to Cuba and now looking for a place with food comparable to the authentic Cuban cuisine you had? Well Havana NY is it! I recently stumbled upon Havana when I was leaving from Refinery Rooftop when I was looking for a quick bite (since I am not the biggest fan of Refinery's food - check out the blog post for further details on that). Upon the recommendation of someone, we were told to venture across the street to a Cuban spot. I walked through the doors of Havana and was blown away by the decor and the bar set up. They have been open since 1991 but recently remodeled their space to provide a more updated look.
Havana has Happy Hour Monday through Saturday from 4 pm - 7 pm. Their happy hour includes $4 beer, $6 house wine, $8 mojitos, and $8 margaritas. Standing in the shadows of a famous rooftop such as Refinery I can see why they have such competitive pricing for happy hour. Havana is not the type of place to lure you with cheap drinks BUT also offers excellent food that is not only appealing to the eye but delectably as well.
