New Restaurant: L'Argot in Harlem
We got a new addition to the home team! L'Argot is the newest restaurant and wine bar in the historic Sugar Hill District of Harlem. This newcomer to the Harlem dining scene has an intimate setting with a calming vibe, impressive cocktails, and a menu that is sure to please the whole crew. L'Argot opened the beginning of 2019 with intentions of setting themselves apart from other restaurants in this area, and they have done so with their open kitchen, exposed brick wall that showcases local artists' work, and live music.
L'Argot menu includes items such as seared scallops, escargot, tuna tartare, and sesame tuna burger, just to name a few. While dining, I got to try their bruschetta, which I am still dreaming about it and the tender chimichurri skirt steak. L'Argot's drink menu offers some spins on classic cocktails such as the Negroni, but they make theirs with Mezcal opposed to gin. If you happen to make it to L'Argot between 4 pm - 7 pm you can catch their fab happy hour, which includes $7 wine, beer, and well drinks. The best thing about their happy hour is that IT IS EVERYDAY!
For who enjoy al fresco dining (dining outdoors) their sidewalk seating will be available soon, and their back patio is currently open.
Drop into L'Argot and tell them Dom N' The City sent you!
My meal was comped at this establishment, but this review showcases my own opinions.
