The first question people typically ask you when you mention you are a foodie is "What is your favorite type of food?" and my response is always Thai food.  Thai food has so many different levels to pleasing all of your senses such as beautiful presentation and coloring, a distinct and enticing smell, and the perfect blend of seasonings and spices.  To make your search easier in finding the perfect Thai restaurant I decided to share my top picks in NYC!

Sabai -  This is one of the newer Thai restaurants and is located in Flatiron with an attentive staff, upscale decor, and fast service.  I placed an order for entire table of 3 and the meal was delivered like yesterday.  Their menu includes 5 different types of curry and my favorite Thai dish, Pad Kro Po.

Thai Villa -  This beautiful restaurant has gold accents and wooden decor and is great for a casual dinner or a date.  Immediately upon walking into Thai Villa you feel like you are transported out of NYC.  They do take reservations and I highly recommend making them for the weekends and for dinner as well.

PURE Thai Cookhouse - This little cozy restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen is probably has some of the most authentic Thai food I have had in NYC.  This spot is known for their handmade noodles that you can see being made when you first walk through the door.  This isn’t a place to bring large groups to, so keep it cute and keep the group small.

Ugly Baby - The name of this Carroll Gardens restaurants peaks your interest but the food is what keeps you coming back.  Their menu is a little more unique than other Thai restaurants as it explores many regions and shows how the dishes vary in preparation and perfect for sharing.
